What do we need to do for men to give us chance/space in this country.I was expecting that the men will give our women chance to rule this time around,with the way our women show interest in politics and their commitment but the outcome of last saturday selection is not encouraging.I was telling my husband the other day why women should be given chance and voted for,as we are born leader and can perform better if given the opportunity and that the way we run our homes in an organise manner should prove that we are created in such a way that to manage men and human resources effectively and efficiently will not be a problem to us.The man just allowed me to finished my campaign and laughed,he said its really nice to see women aspiring to be Governors but we must know that all those theory ended in belgin and face the reality.He claimed that our society has not developed to that stage that men will handle over the affair of the country to a mere woman like that and that in any case,in theory,they supported it but the reality on ground is that she can not even count on the vote of her in-law not to talk of other men-imagine that in this century when women are going places in their field and who says we are only good as home keepers and baby making factory.Its time our men knows that the world is changing and women can also be decision makers with their support and afterall,they share the glory as the woman bear their name.Iam not about women liberation but women support in all endeavours.
