God has a way of making impossibility possible. This is my third week in my new place of work and the good lord who started the journey is perfecting it.It was a tug of war between my husband and I,when i told him i will take the offer. He was not against the change of job perse but refused to make the job and home management easier for me and i was like we were in this business together and we must sit down to iron out the logistics,he refused saying its my responsibility as a wife to do all the house work, take care of his home and kids which i have no problem with but my new job require an assistant as i can not combine going to Apapa and doing school runs together.I used all the tricks any woman can use to get her husband but the man go enjoy me to the fullest but still refuse to yield to my pleading and me no say i no go kill myself bcos i wan continue to be good wife and kill myself with stress, afterall when the salary come,na all of us go enjoy whether directly or indirectly and he is not favourable to my not working,so i decided to do roforofo with him.Iam ordinarily a domicile person,i dont argue with him bcos i know i cant win the battle and will just do whatever he want but my head just tash and i said what a hell-this nonsense must stop and God forgive me,i did not even care again if it cost me my marriage. My father talked to him on the need for us to get somebody to assist and he always tell him no problem but anytime i asked him what we should do,he will just say not my business and i should not bring stranger to his house.I woke up very early my first day in my new place and ensure the kids are okay and prepare their breakfast and just left the house for him as he doesnt have to leave home early,he can work from the house if he want.I wasnt okay with that plan but i must do it as i cant continue to suffer myself even the bible says that a man must lighten the burden and proctect his wife at all time(I hope i have not quoted bible out of context)

To be continue

Am happy you're happy with your new job. I really wish you and ya hussie can talk things through and he should see reason with you on the need to bring in an assisstant.

If he's not akin to you bringing the person, why don't he do that then!

My sister, and you stay in this unhappy setting because..........???I'm sorry to say but perhaps it's time to cut this guy loose give yourself & ur kids a chance at a healthy life & environment? I know it's easier said than done, but it "can" be done. Trust me. After 31 yrs of marriage, my mother has finally found the courage to leave my father - a great father, but terrible husband. Very undeserving of my gem of a mother..just as your ol' boy seems to be undeserving of the gem that u are.
