I think endtime is here and everything is going upside down, children do not respect their parents because they are not good example to them and even among christians.A sister confided in us a situation she is currently facing with her husband and i began to wonder why are the world has gone gaga. She said her husband is going out with a divorcee and she got to know and the husband was telling her they need to sit down and negotiate, not for her to get annoyed over that-imagine that effrontery. What do you think she should do

my sister....it is difficult ooo, men once they make such a decision only prayer can change it. serious prayers. sometimes there's jazz involved and as such only persistant prayers to God who created the man in the first place can work.

She should sit down and negotiate

lol @ uknaija
what's to negotiate? the man is obviously smitten over this divorcee and your friend needs to figure out whether she wants a co-wife or whether she's going to throw up the deuces and leave. the man is clearly going to do what he wants to do anyway...

Simple...He has his woman outside, Mrs is free to see others,if he likes, discreetly. They all get HIV tests. End of. Mrs stops sleeping with Mr without condom. She can negotiate if she is financially independent and stable. If she is a housewife without seperate money, then she has to do it the Nigerian (sic) way...Prayers.

should she be glad that he is even willing to negotiate. I mean, most of them just walk away and leave the their wives to fend for themselves and the kids.
I think she should egt as much out of him as she can and tell him to go F himself (that's if he was in the wrong o). Otherwise, if it is a case of a relationship fizzled, there is nothing she can do.
She need to create a contract too.

What is the world coming to? Reading thru the comments, I can see that people even seem to accept this! Don't get me wrong, these things happen every time but what happened to MARITAL VOWS??!!. I'm a happily married woman but if that day shd come, believe me negotiation would be the last thing I would do.

What happened to marital vows????? Nothing. But you should know that anything not nurtured will die, vow or no vow.
I can't make strong comments without more information but I know that communication is critical to all relationships. It is so easy and tempting to say the man is irresponsible but some women do force their husbands out of the home.

Zifa!

Hmmnn Very pathetic!

If she is born-again, she should tell her Pastor and raise a prayer-chain.
If she is not born-again, she should quickly give her life to Christ and then ask brethren to pray along with her that her husband will repent and turn to God.
